COTTAGE COURT PILOT PROJECT
Charlotte, NC
A single family cottage court workforce housing community designed to demonstrate how innovative housing delivery, thoughtful design, and mission-aligned partnerships with local nonprofits, government agencies, employers, and industry leaders can create a replicable infill model for attainable homeownership.
All homes are targeted to households earning up to 80% of Area Median Income (AMI), with a teacher-priority homeownership program developed in partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' At Home initiative.
THE ROOTS AT BERRYTOWN
Louisville, KY
A community-driven affordable homeownership initiative in Louisville's historic Berrytown neighborhood that demonstrates how high-quality CrossMod HUD-code homes, thoughtful site design, and mission-aligned partnerships can expand attainable homeownership while honoring the community's rich history and legacy.
Located in one of Kentucky's oldest historically Black neighborhoods, the development brings together nonprofit, philanthropic, public, and private partners to create a replicable model for equitable neighborhood revitalization, using innovative factory-built housing to increase affordability, preserve community character, and expand pathways to generational wealth.
